Muhammad Sharjeel is the founder of HisaabPK — Pakistan's free financial calculator platform. With a deep interest in Pakistani tax law, personal finance, and Islamic financial principles, he built HisaabPK out of a genuine frustration: every budget season, millions of Pakistanis had no easy, honest, and free way to understand what they owe in taxes or how to calculate their Zakat correctly.
Sharjeel writes all guides, calculator explanations, and budget analysis on HisaabPK himself — cross-referencing FBR circulars, Finance Bills, and established Islamic jurisprudence to ensure every piece of content is accurate, practical, and understandable to the average Pakistani reader, not just tax professionals.
Growing up in Pakistan, Sharjeel saw firsthand how financially excluded most people are from understanding their own tax obligations. Teachers, shopkeepers, software engineers, farmers — all of them paying taxes through withholding but most of them unaware of the exact rates, the deductions available, or the legal benefits of being a tax filer. The information existed, scattered across FBR websites, legal texts, and Urdu-language content that was often out of date.
HisaabPK was his answer to this problem. Not a paid service. Not a platform designed to upsell a consultation. Just a clean, fast, free tool that gives you the correct answer, explains how it was calculated, and helps you understand what you need to do next. Every calculator is updated within hours of a budget announcement. Every blog post is written in plain, jargon-free English that makes complex rules accessible.
When he is not updating calculators for the latest Finance Bill or writing guides on Faraid inheritance law, Sharjeel is reading FBR SROs, digging into the Income Tax Ordinance, or answering questions from HisaabPK users. The goal has always been simple: give every Pakistani the financial information they deserve, for free.
